Part of what makes a polished plaster wall feel expensive is the way light moves across it. Marmorino sits between the high sheen of classic polished plaster and a plainer matt paint, giving a softer, textured lime-plaster look that still carries real depth. It suits homeowners who want the character of a hand-applied finish without the strongest mirror-like polish, and like the other finishes it can be tinted across a wide range of tones to sit against your existing scheme.

The finish itself is built up by hand in multiple thin coats rather than one thick application. Each layer is applied and then burnished before the next, which is what develops the depth, movement and light-reflective sheen that defines Venetian plaster. It is slow, deliberate work, and rushing it is exactly what flattens the final result, so we let the process take the time it needs.
