Every project starts with a consultation about the finish, colour and texture you are after, because polished plaster, Marmorino and Tadelakt each behave differently. Polished plaster gives the smoothest, most marble-like sheen, Marmorino has a softer textured lime-plaster look, and Tadelakt is the waterproof option for wet areas, so we help you choose the right one for the room before anything begins.

For bathrooms and wet rooms, Tadelakt is applied and then sealed so it is genuinely water-resistant, unlike standard Venetian plaster which is decorative rather than waterproof. This is what allows a seamless, tactile plaster finish to be used where you would normally expect tiles, giving a wet area a soft, continuous surface with no grout lines to maintain.

Once sealed, these finishes are hard-wearing and easy to live with. A Tadelakt bathroom has no grout lines to scrub or reseal, and a polished plaster feature wall tends to gain character over time rather than chipping or dating like some paint trends, so the finish still looks considered years after it goes on.

As well as new installations, we repair and restore existing polished plaster that has been damaged or has dated over time. Matching the original texture and colour as closely as possible is skilled work in its own right, and it means a tired or knocked feature wall can often be brought back rather than stripped out and started again.
